Visitors may reach us through a scenic drive through Pankhabari Road- crossing the Teesta River, cut across through natural forests where Elephants roam and gradually ascend to a Himalayan terrain offering panoramic views of tea gardens and forests in all directions.

Even before one enters the walk through reception area, a classic yellow Beetle and two Land Rovers from the old age, greet the guests”

“Quirky and delightful, we stayed 4 nights. Our ground floor room, with comfortable twin beds, was spacious and well-appointed – the bathrooms have been recently renovated and are excellent. A wall heater provides warmth, which is most welcome at this time of year. We did not use the large terrace as the weather was cool and cloudy. The staff were excellent. They were friendly and attentive. The food was delicious, especially those with ingredients locally sourced. We can strongly recommend the Indian vegetarian options. This is not however a 5 star hotel in the same league as the Oberoi. It has a quirky charm of its own.
